Return of the Devil Dog
Posted January 13th, 2009 by Jill Conner BrowneWe brought along the world’s most perfect dogs, Sostie & BD , without hesitation but EDIE–we had some reservations. She’s barely a year old & pretty rambunctious at home but we just couldn’t bear to leave her when the time came–and she has been PERFECTLY well-mannered…until tonight.
After my signing in DC, we went back to the bus to drop off stuff & I put on sweats & we went to meet KimmyDarling & Co to eat.
We returned to a garbage dump covered in red hair . SOMEONE had chewed up a book, found, emptied and scattered a paper cup FULL of pistachio shells, and torn open a bag with a brand new red wig & pulled out most of the hair & flung it about freely.
When we came in & viewed the wreckage, Sostie sang, BD put his paws on Kyles shoulders, but little Edie, the Devil Dog, just hunkered down with her ears slicked back on her head so far she looked like a salamander–GUILTY as sin!

Uh, oh…somebody is in HUGE poo-poo…no pun intended! LOL
Yeah, a crate while not supervised is the DogWhisperer thing to do. And toys…..LOTS of toys!
Sounds like more of a temper tantrum/doggy style, actually.
SOMEBODY needs to be reminded who’s HRH around that joint! LOL

Well, those little critters do have a way of letting us humans know they are NOT HAPPY with their current situation…we have (yes, we did still keep him…) a dog that has eaten: my husband’s hearing aid, a leather ottoman and a beer can, just to name a few of his favorite ‘toys’… can’t wait to see ya’ll in Tulsa soon…

And, here, I thought this was going to be a post about Devil Dogs (that tasty cake with creme filling!)
Hope Edie’s learning to behave!
