The real question about deviled eggs and the one that has been a very very sore spot between my two sisters and myself is do you make them with pickle relish or spend an eternity chopping up sweet pickles?

Oh lordy! I haven't heard the name Viney in YEARS. My grandma had an aunt named Melvina that everyone called Viney.

And now I want my momma's deviled eggs.

You are going to force me to go to the grocery store so that I can buy aigs aren't you! And the cravings begin!
Last Christmas I became the designated aig maker for all the Christmas parties we attended (especially those for both my work and my hubby's). Due to the number of aigs I was forced to make, I have not made any since. I do believe it is time.
I would send you some, but with this heat I don't think they'll make it from NC to you (and still be fit to eat).

I have not had any minner cheese/aig combo--not totally convinced that is a good idea. Would try it first with a "simultaneous bite of each" first--before RISKING the ruination of entire batches of two of my favorite foods! But if I did make it and it sucked, I would feed it all to VINEY!

All that AIG talking has made me hungry. It also gave me the idea of making "Minner Cheese AIGS". Has that been done yet?
